  Aluminum Skid Plate

  I had not heard of nor seen any Indian Scout Bobbers having damage due to projectiles being pelted at high speed from a front tire, regardless, I wasn’t going to take a chance either. When I received the skid plate, the first thing I did was round the squared edges on the sides, vents, and angled front. Then, I polished it with 0000 steel wool, Mother’s Aluminum Wheel polish, removed any residual paste with brake cleaner then, powdered coated the skid plate with a semi-gloss coating. Personally, it looks great, yes, it took some time with the prep work but the finished product is stellar and was simple to install.

  While it’s not a showstopper and most people won’t see it this part is great. Helps protect the sensitive bits and was easy to install. Thx!
