The NZ-Race is KYT’s race-designed helmet with a proprietary full carbon fiber shell.

The shapes have been deeply studied through fluid dynamic software and through repeated wind tunnel sessions to achieve the best aerodynamic performance. The visor guarantees a wide field of peripheral and vertical visibility ideal for road and competitive racing use.

NZ-Race is designed and developed to achieve the best performance in terms of aerodynamics, ventilation, and comfort without neglecting style. In particular, the ventilation has been carefully studied to guarantee optimal diffusion of fresh air inside the helmet

Shell:

• Shell produced in Triaxial Composite (Carbon, Kevlar, Fiberglass) with high resistance to crashes. NZ-Race shell is produced in two sizes: M and L.

Ventilation:

• Internal Polystyrene liner was studied to work in symbiosis with the three front air intakes on the external shell. Particular changelings’, obtained on polystyrene, allow to air flow intake optimal ventilation into the helmet, and a quick exhaust of the hot air.

Shield:

• The visor of NZ-Race is PC injected, anti-scratch, optic in class 1 with variable thickness. Thanks to the new ratchet the visor is removable easily without tools. NZ-Race visor is PINLOCK Max Vision lens compatible. NZ Race visor is ideal for road and racing use.

Interior:

• The liners are optimized to offer the best comfort and moisture wicking. Internal polystyrene liner is realized in three sizes (S, M, and L) to obtain better ergonomics and a variable density. This characteristic allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the energy produced by the impact.
• The cheek pads and the internal comfort shell can be removed, washed, and replaced. They are made of precious bi-elastic fabric with specific fibers coupled with sponges with open cells for the best air flow in order to keep fresh and dry.
• The retention system is equipped with a DD ring. It is compatible with micrometric add-ons.
• Removable 40mm speaker pockets

• Homologation: ECE 22.05/06, DOT FMVSS 218 approved
