Ford Performance developed a 3.55:1 ratio gear set differential housing that is ideal for drag racing applications. Keep your rear axle in great condition with the included aluminum differential cover and fully loaded, strong cast iron housing. This durable replacement part is made in the USA and is ready to handle high-performance Mustangs

The Ford Performance 3.55 IRS Loaded Differential Housing comes pre-installed with an 8.80-inch ring and pinion gear set. This ring and pinion gear has a 3.55:1 gear ratio and is engineered to be both strong and quiet. This diff housing also includes a Traction-Lok differential. This limited-slip differential is designed to distribute torque to each of the rear wheels concurrently for maximum grip.

Note: On 2015-2017 Mustangs, pinion flange change may be necessary; comes with pinion flange with 93mm bolt circle and 110mm driveshaft pilot installed. For applications that require 95mm bolt circle and 113mm driveshaft pilot, use FR3Z-4851-B pinion flange

CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS

Beginning July 1st, 2023, customers in California benefit from the distinctive warranty coverage for any of Ford’s portfolio accessories. Customers must provide proof of delivery in one of two ways. Provide the FedEx delivery label, indicating the date of delivery; or Provide the Printed or Electronic Receipt indicating the date the accessory/part was delivered. Ask the dealership for an amended receipt if the accessory/part is delivered at a later date than purchased in order to indicate the date the accessory/part was delivered to the customer.
